Artist statement
I use art photography to turn memory, care and social experience into visual language.
My practice moves between portraiture, conceptual photography, mixed media and documentary-inspired image-making. I am interested in the stories carried by hands, land, faces, labour, silence and survival.
Rather than creating images only for decoration, I use my work to encourage reflection around mental health, abuse, youth vulnerability, knife crime, environmental care, inequality, resilience and human connection.
